Booktober is an event for book lovers to get together, connect, and build community. Come dressed up as your favorite character, have fun with photo-ops and a variety of bookish activities, including a book swap, meeting various authors, shopping local vendors, and make new friends over a shared love of reading! ** While we want to make space for all readers, this event specifically is only for adults 18+.
We all have those books sitting on our shelves that have either been on our TBR forever, or we read them, hated them, and will never read them again. This is the perfect opportunity swap them out for some fresh reads.
Participating in our book swap is completely optional, but you must bring a book to participate. You may bring up to 10 books in good condition to swap.
This is a ticketed event, tickets are $25 and include:
- Event access to meet authors, and shop with local & bookish vendors
- Two raffle tickets for a chance to win a variety of prizes
- Booktober tote bag, and sticker set
- Bedazzling Station
- DIY Bracelet Station
- Design your own bookmark. Join our local Maricopa artist and learn how to create your own watercolor bookmark.
If paintings not your thing, you can also choose to create your own bookmarks from a variety of acrylic, beaded, and paper bookmark styles.
