Experienced cyclists interested in using the off season to take your fitness to the next level. Workouts are scaled to your fitness level. Open to Team and Non Team Members (with waiver, rsvp, and advanced class pass purchase).
What: Beginner athletes must bring their own skinny tire road, triathlon, or hybrid bike. No knobby tires, no exceptions.
Experienced athletes who can set up their own smart trainer and have a smart trainer app, and all the necessary devices can bring any smart trainer compatible bike. We supply the smart trainers (more details below).
Smart vs. Manual Trainer
Manual: This is what we recommend for most athletes. Best for athletes who have never used a smart trainer and experienced smart trainer athletes who have the flexibility to deviate from a structured training plan and are most interested in improving their shifting, pedal stroke, and specific neuromuscular abilities. Manual trainer rides can still be tracked using a bike computer, speed, and cadance sensors.
Smart: Best for athletes who are commtited to a structured training plan, and are joining classes only for the social/accountability aspect. We supply the wheel off, direct drive smart trainer.
NOTE: After instruction, you MUST be able to manage your own bike on and off the direct drive smart trainer and connect to the app and your workout on your own (we can supply our workout of the day).
Loaner Bikes: We do have a limited selection of adult loaner bikes, which must be requested in advance of registration.
Option to run off the bike after. Please RSVP to Facebook event invite.
