Presented by Chandler Special EventsWith an ARIA Award for Best Country Album and a staggering 22 Golden Guitar Awards to her name, Sara Storer stands as one of Australia’s most celebrated and authentic country music artists.
Since the release of her critically acclaimed debut album, Chasing Buffalo (2001), Sara has captivated audiences nationwide, earning a loyal following with her heartfelt storytelling, rich melodies, and unwavering connection to rural Australia. Renowned for her uncanny sense of melody and gift for capturing the essence of Australian life, Sara’s songs paint vivid portraits of the land, its people, and their struggles. From the dusty outback to small-town heartaches, her music resonates with raw honesty.
Iconic ARIA Hall of Fame member John Williamson recently said, “I have always been blown away by Sara’s voice and her songwriting. In fact, if I am asked who is the one to carry the flame on the road behind me, I say Sara without a doubt. She has a unique way of seeing and expressing her observations of love and life in the bush and is a songwriter who will be remembered beyond her lifetime.” As The Australian once wrote, "Storer doesn’t just sing about the bush—she brings it to life." Fellow artists, including Kasey Chambers, have praised her songwriting: "Sara writes with a purity that cuts straight to the soul” while Lee Kernaghan opines, “Sara Storer writes songs that paint the spirit of the bush with breathtaking beauty.” And Rolling Stone hailed her as “one of the finest lyricists this country has ever produced.”
Beyond accolades, Sara’s authenticity sets her apart. Whether performing at major festivals or intimate country halls, her warmth and genuine spirit shine through. Her seventh album, Raindance (2022), further cemented her legacy, blending poignant lyricism with timeless country charm. Sara released her eighth solo album, Worth Your Love, in June 2025, which she followed up with a national sell-out tour.
From humble beginnings in country Victoria to dominating the country music scene, Sara Storer remains a treasured voice of the Australian heartland—a storyteller whose songs endure because they’re crafted with truth, passion, and an unshakable love for the land she calls home.
