Sankofa Series: Black Foodways - Community Cookbook

Food is more than nourishment. It is history, culture, resistance, and connection. The Sankofa Series: Black Foodways invites participants to explore the rich culinary traditions of the African diaspora through storytelling, discussion, and shared recipes. Together, we will preserve family traditions, celebrate cultural heritage, and examine the ways food shapes identity and community. Participants will contribute recipes, memories, and reflections to create a community cookbook that honors the past while inspiring future generations. Join us as we gather, share, and document the flavors and stories that connect us.
