About this Event
Italy’s greatest rivalry, settled in the glass. Or at least argued over.
On Wednesday, October 21 at 6pm, David leads a side-by-side tasting on our mezzanine. Piedmont’s Nebbiolo goes up against Tuscany’s Sangiovese, and you’ll taste how climate and soil push the two grapes in opposite directions.
Piedmont: Alpine air, cool nights, perfume and finesse. We start the limestone hills of the Langhe and go up to the volcanic, high-altitude slopes of Alto Piemonte.
Tuscany: Sun, warmth and grip. We go from bright, juicy Chianti Classico to the dark power of Brunello di Montalcino.
Taste them side by side and pick your winner.
Tickets are $40, and you get $20 back in store credit to spend on whichever side won you over. Seating is limited.
