The Sandy Cliff Round is a dedicated annual event by the Doncaster Baseball Club to celebrate and honor the memory of club legend Sandra "Sandy" Cliff.Sandy was affectionately known as "The Dragon Lady" for her immense passion and dedication to the club which spanned nearly half a century supporting every corner of Deep Creek Reserve.
She was the number one supporter of the women's teams, helping the program grow both on and off the field, including sharing her special ice cream recipe across our generations of women's players.
After celebrating us for the inaugural event, Sandy passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, leaving a massive legacy behind in the green and gold community.
So for 2026/27, we are pleased to remember Sandy, but making it even bigger and more special for members, expanding this year's event into a triple header at Deep Creek.
