Halloween returns to WatsoniaDrawing families from across Melbourne each year, Halloween in Watsonia transforms the local shopping precinct into an afternoon of trick or treating, roaming entertainment and spooky surprises.
As the sun begins to set, shop windows fill with costumed families, ghostly bubbles drift through the Town Square, Halloween characters roam the streets, and local businesses throw open their doors for one of Watsonia's favourite annual traditions.
Spend the afternoon wandering the precinct, collecting trick or treats from participating businesses, discovering local cafés, retailers and restaurants, meeting spooky characters along the way, and enjoying free entertainment for the whole family.
This year, Watsonia Library will also stay open late especially for Halloween, opening its doors for family-friendly Halloween activities and becoming part of an afternoon that stretches right across the precinct.
Whether you're visiting for the costumes, the trick or treating or simply to soak up the atmosphere, Halloween in Watsonia is a celebration of everything people love about a vibrant local main street.
