About this Event
Sanctuary & Soil is a space created specifically for Black women. Each session includes hands-on gardening activities, a short teaching on a herb or health condition, and unstructured time to simply breathe and enjoy being in a green space. Whether you're curious about plant medicine, want to connect with other Black women, or just need somewhere to decompress, this space is for you.
Gardening activities for this session include seed sowing winter vegetables and planting spring-flowering bulbs.
For the herbal knowledge share, we’ll be looking at practical ways to support women’s health and the menstrual cycle.
