Travel with us for an educational and inspiring journey connecting the Black history and culture of San Antonio with important African American historic and cultural sites in Dallas.
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
🕊️ Freedman’s Cemetery Memorial
Visit this historic site honoring formerly enslaved African Americans and their descendants who helped establish Dallas' Freedman’s Town community. We'll reflect on the lives, struggles, accomplishments, and legacy of Dallas' early Black community.
✊🏾 African American Museum of Dallas
Explore one of the Southwest's important institutions dedicated to preserving and presenting African American history, art, and culture, including the special .

Experience a unique Black-owned cultural destination featuring books, African art, history, clothing, educational resources, gifts, and more. Guests will have time to explore, shop, and support this important cultural institution.
TENTATIVE TOUR SCHEDULE
5:30 AM — Check-in and boarding in San Antonio
6:00 AM — Depart San Antonio
10:30–11:00 AM — Arrive in Dallas
11:00 AM–12:00 PM — Freedman’s Cemetery Memorial
12:30–2:30 PM — African American Museum of Dallas / Nelson Mandela Exhibit
3:00–4:15 PM — Pan-African Connection Bookstore
4:45–6:15 PM — Group dinner / meal stop
6:15 PM — Depart Dallas
10:45–11:15 PM — Estimated return to San Antonio
Schedule and times are subject to change based on traffic, venue schedules, and other travel considerations.
TICKET PRICES
🎟️ Early-Bird Admission — $110 per person(before Oct. 19, 2026)
🎟️ Regular Admission — $125 per person
Early registration is encouraged. Seating is limited.

MEALS
Meals are not included in the ticket price. A meal stop will be included in the itinerary, and guests will be responsible for purchasing their own food.

A minimum of 30 paid guests is needed to make this special Black History & Cultural Day Trip happen.
Once the minimum number of paid participants is reached, the trip will be officially confirmed.
If the minimum of 30 paid participants is not reached and the trip is canceled, registered guests will receive a full refund.
