About: Samhain & Día de los Muertos: A Community GatheringWhen the veil is thin, Spirit flows in. A free afternoon of ceremony, music, and merriment to honor the ancestors. All are welcome.
At Samhain, the veil between the worlds grows thin. The portal to Spirit lifts, and we can reach the other side more easily. Join the Karma Yoga Center community to honor the ancestors and celebrate the turning of the season.
We begin at 2pm with an opening ceremony honoring the Samhain quarter turn on the seasonal calendar and inviting the ancestors to join us. Then the music and merriment begin.
Throughout the afternoon:
Live music
Arts & crafts
Tarot readings
Chair massage
Fall harvest soup
Tricks & treats
Lisa's Sattvic Chai
Ken's Kenbucha
A Día de los Muertos altar to honor the ancestors
**Friendly spirit costumes encouraged.
All are welcome**
