Join us to process food scraps collected from our community drop-offs, maintain our education corner with smaller compost systems, and take care of miscellaneous tasks around the site.
Plan ahead: Please wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty. Bring your water bottle to stay hydrated.
Directions: The Salt Lot is located at 22 2nd Ave, Brooklyn, New York, zipcode 11215 at the end of 2nd Avenue. Accessible by F, G, and R trains and B37, B63, and B103 buses. Street parking is available in the area.
