With acoustic guitar, harmonica, and harmonies worn by weather and time, Salinas Road evokes the spirit of Townes Van Zandt, The Milk Carton Kids, and Gillian Welch — but filtered through the warm dusk of the California backcountry.
Formed in 2023 by longtime collaborators Paul Cruz and Bill Jones, the duo doesn’t just write songs — they carve out moments. Their breakout single “Lonely” has racked up over 400k organic streams through word-of-mouth and heartfelt fan connection. One of their newer releases, “See the Water” reflects the soft ache of hope — the story of a couple dreaming of moving to the coast.
With performances that feel more like conversations than showcases, Salinas Road is building something rare: a slow-burning community of listeners who show up for meaning, not marketing.
