About this Event
Building on the discussions at last year's event and the barriers and challenges you identified this programme aims to bring together partners from across adult and children's health and care services, including social care, primary care, mental health, community services, public health, the voluntary and community sector, alongside local residents from all five Salford neighbourhoods to strengthen relationships, tackle shared challenges and improve outcomes for Salford residents.
This is not another meeting or programme. It is an opportunity to work differently by bringing people together around a shared ambition to improve the health and wellbeing of local people. Through stronger partnerships, shared solutions and practical action, we will focus on proactive, person centred care, earlier intervention and prevention, building on the many strengths that already exist across Salford's neighbourhoods.
The launch event marks the beginning of a series of collaborative sessions that will take place over the next 12 months. Further information about future sessions and the wider programme will be shared on the day.
To ensure strong and balanced representation, we are seeking one representative from each neighbourhood within each of the professional areas listed above. This will enable a broad range of perspectives while keeping the event to a manageable size.
Your involvement will help strengthen relationships across the system, shape our shared approach to neighbourhood working, and support the development of more integrated services that improve outcomes for Salford residents.
