Saints Player's is proud to present Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge, a classic tragedy that explores jealousy, betrayal, masculinity, and the pursuit of the American Dream.
Brooklyn longshoreman Eddie Carbone lives with his wife Beatrice and their orphaned niece Catherine in a tight-knit Italian neighborhood near the waterfront, in 1950's Brooklyn. Eddie struggles with jealousy and anger when Beatrice’s cousins, Marco and Rodolpho, arrive from Italy seeking refuge. When Catherine and Rodolpho fall in love, Eddie’s mistrust deepens into an obsession, driving him towards a devastating act of betrayal that shatters his community.
This production contains violence and mature themes, and is not recommended for children under the age of 12.
