About this Event
Join us for a community safeTALK training — a 4-hour workshop designed to help participants recognize when someone may be struggling with thoughts of suicide and connect them with support.
safeTALK is an evidence-based suicide alertness program that prepares participants to:
- Recognize signs that someone may be thinking about suicide
- Engage in supportive conversations with confidence and care
- Connect individuals to appropriate resources and professional help
- Build a safer, more connected community
This training is open to community members, volunteers, parents, educators, healthcare staff, and anyone who wants to learn practical skills to support others. No previous training or experience is required.
Together, we can help create communities where people feel seen, supported, and connected.
Please note:
Some of the content discussed may be emotionally sensitive and participants are encouraged to take care of themselves and access support as needed during and after the workshop.
