About this Event
Safe Sitter® is a nationally-recognized program that gives kids ages 11-17 (mature 10 years-old is okay) the skills and knowledge needed to safely care for children infants through school age. In this 1-day workshop, in addition to the importance of treating babysitting as a business, participants will learn choking rescue skills, how to handle life-threatening emergencies, how to keep themselves safe, when and how to call for help, and child development knowledge to help them become a safer and better sitter. Students must attend the entire session and exhibit respectful, mature, responsible, and safe qualities that are desired in a babysitter to receive their completion card.
