Three ultracyclists on finishing the inaugural 1,300km Lost Dot 101 and getting more women on bikes.Hear from Katie, Rose and Rosa, three Bristol-based ultracyclists who finished the inaugural Lost Dot 101, a 1,300km self-supported bicycle race across Spain & Portugal for women, non-binary and trans riders. Alongside Athlyn from Roll Models, a mentorship programme empowering women and marginalised genders to explore by bike, and Taylor from Lost Dot, they’ll talk about creating community, finding adventures and inspiring more women to get outdoors.
Panellists
Katie Moss (@katiejanemoss) participated in Lost Dot 101 as her first solo ultra endurance race, having raced the Transcontinental in 2022 as a pair. Katie works in climate change public policy, is a committee member at Bristol Cycling Campaign and can usually be found outside running or cycling.
Rosa ter Kuile (@rtiiika) is an artist and founder of the Bristol Mural Collective. Part of her work is making bike portraits for cycling events (Bespoked, Rapha). Her work has been featured in Single Track Magazine and Bikepacking.com. Lost Dot 101 was her first big ultra. She learnt how to bike pack from her mum.
Taylor Doyle (@lostdot101) is Media Manager at Lost Dot, one of the brains behind Lost Dot 101 and a long-time advocate of making ultra-cycling more diverse. Taylor is an experienced ultra-cyclist herself, having participated in numerous races over the years.
