Sacred Pause: A Ceremony to Come Home to Yourself
December has a way of asking everything.
It asks for your presence, your energy, your patience, your joy and it keeps asking, right up until the last moment of the year.
Sacred Pause: Coming Home is your invitation to receive before you give.
This is an intimate 2 hour ceremony open to everyone: practitioners, caregivers, parents, teachers, healers, and anyone who finds themselves running on empty as the season begins. The evening moves through three intentional phases:
Come Home to Yourself.
Rest Your Spirit.
Reclaim Your Peace.
The ceremony includes:
- The Threshold: a physical crossing into sacred space with a stone placed in your hands
- Declaration of Opening: naming this space as yours for the entire evening
- Opening Circle: sharing your name and how you show up for others, witnessed by the room
- The Blessing: a spoken honoring woven from what the circle shared
- The Empty Cup Exercise: somatic check-in and guided journaling for what December is already asking
- Guided Breathwork: releasing what you’ve absorbed, returning to yourself
- A Sound Bath: nothing required, just receive
- Declaration of Closing: sent back into December carrying what you came to receive
Every guest receives:
- A smooth stone: your ceremonial anchor for the evening and your winter altar at home
- An intention candle hand-poured by Donna. Light it when you need to come home to yourself.
- Good Vibes Spray for energetic clearing when the season piles on
Sacred Pause: Coming Home is intentionally capped at 10 guests. There are no large rooms, no anonymous crowds. Just ten people in a circle, held by ceremony, and by each other.
