📍 Sachs MuseumClassical guitarist Patrick Rafferty returns to the Sachs Museum to perform a presentation of solo guitar works inspired by plants and the garden. The lecture-recital will feature music from the late Renaissance to the modern era, with a special focus on the music of William Foden, America's first guitar hero and resident of Saint Louis. Attendees will hear a variety of guitars and the music written for them.
Performances take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Performance duration: 30-45 minutes. Seating is first come, first served. Included with Garden admission. Sponsored by Nancy Ridenour.

PERFORMER'S BACKGROUND 🎭
Patrick Rafferty, an active performer and teacher, concertizes across the Midwest and teaches in a variety of studio and classroom settings across the area. A polished interpreter of the traditional guitar repertoire, he is equally at home in a wide range of popular and world music styles. Patrick has extended his interests to early guitar repertoire with a focus on Baroque guitar, 19th Century Guitars and the music that was written for them.
