About Connect With Joy:
Connect With Joy is a tango school and community in Gothenburg, founded in 2019 by Elodie. We are driven by a simple, clear desire: to create a space where everyone feels welcome.
We cultivate presence over performance. Our focus is on body awareness, self-awareness, relaxation and safety, so that dancers can connect truly, humbly and joyfully. Community feeling is central. Not only for our members, but also in how we support our team of assistant teachers to grow, find their voice and share their love of tango.
About Elodie:
Dancer and teacher, Elodie Labonne explores tango as an art of connection, listening and sharing. Founder of Connect With Joy tango school in Gothenburg, she guides dancers toward a lively, conscious and joyful practice.
Certified in Gyrokinesis® and Pilates, she uses technique to serve freedom - a freedom born from chosen constraints, essential for co-creation and mutual growth, for a precise, organic and musical movement.
Her teaching highlights musicality as a language of connection, where rhythm, breath and silence become spaces for listening and dialogue. In her workshops, she encourages exploration through play and collective reflection, cultivating joy and curiosity.
