SOMATIC ECSTATIC DANCE - with Maja Kyrsting
Let´s dance together, as our bodies wishes to do it. The expression of the groupdance will not be the same without you.
The dance is always supported by music. It is a travel from slow to more up-tempo, finishing downtempo again.
Join to discover, not to perform. Join to sense and let the body remember, instead of seeking perfection. Let us return to the body’s native language together, each of us connecting to something raw and real in ourselves. The dance is guided and arises from a center in our body chosen by the teacher. It arises from this chosen body organ for today's dance, parred with one element (water, earth, air, fire, space).
Well, don’t think twice. Come on and try! No special skills are needed. No props. Please wear textiles that allow you to move and let’s go!
ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Maja: "I am a physiotherapist with 18 years' experience, always caring about the brain-body-soul connection. I am also a yoga teacher and a mother of 2. I find ecstatic dance to be a very powerful way to find yourself and feel less lonesome at the same time. I would love to hold a space for you to have your own experience with the Somatic Ecstatic Dance."
