FUNDRAISER CLASSES AT RÖRTPractice is good, but practicing for a good cause might be even more meaningful. Once a month one of the Rört teachers is hosting a movement class supporting a specific NGO. You can join these classes for free - and we hope you will then donate whatever amount of money you wish to the featured NGO.
ABOUT THIS CLASS
This practice invites us to soften the heart, as we gather to cultivate compassion, connection, and care for ourselves, our communities, and all living beings. Through the practice of Loving Kindness, we create space for peace, healing, and kindness, both within and around us.
Loving-Kindness Meditation, is a simple practice. Through quiet reflection, mindful breathing, and the repetition of gentle phrases of peace, safety, and well-being, we strengthen our capacity for compassion and empathy.
During this session, we will begin by offering kindness to ourselves before gradually extending these wishes outward to loved ones, acquaintances, strangers, and eventually all living beings. As we expand our circle of care, we create a sense of connection that transcends differences and reminds us of our shared humanity.
This session is open to everyone. No meditation experience is required. Whether you have an established practice or are completely new to meditation, you are warmly welcome to join. Come as you are and share in a collective moment of presence, kindness, and community.
