Rusti Steel & the Tin Tax formed at the beginning of 1986. The 4-piece authentic 50s Rockabilly band took the scene by storm, headlining Rockin’ events, weekenders, etc. extensively throughout the UK, Europe & Scandinavia.
They had the privilege of backing many American original 50s artists; were themselves recording artists for labels such as Fury, Sunnyville, Goofin’, Nervous, Rockhouse and Be Be’s Records; and appeared on TV and radio shows.
All good things must come to an end sometime though, and the band finished at the end of the 90s.
However, this year is the 40th anniversary of the formation of the band and so Rusti Steel & the Tin Tax have got the original line up back together to play a few select Rockin’ gigs to celebrate their 40th anniversary
