Run your first great Tabletop RPG session!
You want to run a tabletop RPG. Something's stopping you.
Your First Great Session is a three-hour, in-person workshop for people who want to run their first game, or run their next one better. Real examples, real questions, no experience needed. Come with a friend or come alone. Bring dice, pen and paper, you know, the usual —oh, and the name of the RPG you're going to run.
Present, listen, respond, repeat
That's the GM's whole job. You don't have to know everything. Nobody does. Somebody sets the scene, listens to what the players want to do, says what happens, and does it again. I'll show you how.
Who should show up
- People who've never GM'd and want to.
- People who ran one game, hated the prep, and quit.
- Players ready to try the chair behind the screen.
- Brand-new folks who just want to see how the whole thing works.
What you get
- Three hours of shop talk, examples, and Q&A.
- Coffee, sparkling water, soda, and snacks. Not dinner, so eat first.
- A roadmap you can follow for your first game.
