In 1979, she was hired aboard the Aquamarine, a Greek cruise ship that was granted permission to travel to China year-round. ROUNDTRIP is the wild, funny, and deeply personal true story of artist Kathy Holly.

What to Expect
Before Spotify or television dominated the living room, Kathy Holly was building characters out of dress-up scarves, directing her cousins at family gatherings, and learning the Great American Songbook straight from vinyl records.

A versatile vocalist, guitarist, actress, and TV producer, she has performed across the globe, from New York to Europe, Thailand, Australia, and China. Known for her cross-generational appeal, infectious warmth, and dramatic versatility, she brings decades of international stagecraft back to her hometown.

Forty-plus years in the making, this “mirage of a house” continues to evolve as a living, breathing passion project, with contributions from hundreds of artists from around the globe. Recognized as a San Francisco Historic Landmark and Legacy Business, the museum is also the headquarters of Velocity Arts & Entertainment, producing experiences for companies, non-profits, private and community events.
