Join us in Chicago for a meet-up to discuss The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World by Robin Wall KimmererAbout this Event
Rooted Reads is a book club interested in connecting and building community through a radical analysis of food and global food systems. The books we read will challenge us to consider limitations of our current food systems as well as how we can actively cultivate a new future for ourselves and the generations ahead. This is a space for all people interested in these topics, but will intentionally make space for growers, land stewards, cooks/chefs,and the elders/ancestors that sowed seeds across all lands.
We'll select a book a month and then meet monthly to discuss our thoughts.
