Info: Urban Roots Alliance is kicking off its Wellness series October 31st aka Halloween. We want you to come out and start the festive day with us for our Rooted In Wellness event. This event is for youth and adults. There will be free wellness screenings, food, games and there will be spoken word and a community open mic. There will be a writers circle with a prompt and the best poem or story wins a prize. Additionally there will be a prize for the best costume so come show out your creativity. The theme is Costumes, Culture and Community so come join us and celebrate yours and our Urban Roots. You can dress as a comic book character or as a Black Historical figure in honor of Black culture and heritage. More importantly use your creativity.
