ROOTED: Gallery Tour + Live Painting with McKenna Prather

Spend an afternoon with McKenna Prather as she takes you inside ROOTED, her new solo exhibition at Gibson Fine Art.

McKenna will lead a tour through the exhibition, sharing the Alberta and Newfoundland landscapes, memories and traditions behind the collection, along with the hand stitching and painted borders that finish each piece.

Then watch her paint live in the gallery for a rare look at how one of her layered landscapes comes together from the first marks onward.

Relaxed, personal and unscripted, this is a chance to see the work up close and watch the artist’s process unfold in real time.

Space is limited. Advance registration is recommended.
