About this Event
Yoga with Sanu: Root to Rise, Learning to listen to yourself :)
Each Saturday, Root to Rise invites you to slow down and return to yourself. We live and operate in a space where we are constantly nudged by voices, opinions and noise. It's easy to fade into the background, to forget what you feel, what your body needs, move into auto pilot.
This practice is about listening to your body, through focus on our energy centres, also known as Chakras. Together, we explore movement, breath, and awareness as tools to connect back to your inner voice.
Join me in the park for a gentle nudge inward. It is a chance to ground, move through emotion and find steady footing.

About Sanam
Sanam’s yoga journey began in the stillness of COVID — when the world outside felt loud and uncertain, she turned inward and found movement as medicine. But the real shift came when someone gently said to her, “You feel blocked.”That moment cracked something open. It led her to explore the energy centers within — the chakras — and to learn what it really means to listen to yourself.
Since then, her practice has evolved with her — from something deeply personal to something she now holds and shares with others. She trained in Mysore, India, where yoga is part of the rhythm of everyday life, and brings those traditional teachings into a soft, heart-led space.
Root to Rise was born from her desire to create grounding, expansive spaces — where you can reconnect with your body, your breath, and the parts of yourself that are often forgotten in the noise of daily life.
Sanam’s classes are gentle but deep, thoughtful but lighthearted. Come as you are, and leave feeling just a little more like yourself.
