Does your child love comics? Then they'll love this workshop! This half-term, BAFTA winning animator, illustrator and comic artist Dan Chambers welcomes you to the Roof Terrace to create your very own comic! Dan has over 20 years' experience of animating, writing, directing and voice acting on many popular shows, including Peppa Pig, Mr Bean, Peter Rabbit, Charlie & Lola, Miffy and many more.
Dan's passion is making comics and helping others make them. Comics are a unique artform that tie together many disciplines including storytelling, hand/eye coordination, planning, imagination, focus and problem-solving.
Dan will do his own comic from the group's suggestions, give some guidance on comic drawing techniques and storytelling, and will also help your children create their own comic, guiding with a light touch so they can genuinely say the comic is 100% their own work.
Ages 7-12. Adults are asked to stay close by in the venue.
The Bar & Kitchen bar will be open for drinks which you are welcome to bring up to the Roof Terrace to enjoy.
