A playful, absorbing mindful walk in central Brighton, using our ears to guide us. This is the final Interactive Listening session of the season. 'Wonderful! This has opened up a whole new world for me'
Join us for an experience like no other: our inclusive interactive exploration of a bustling part of central Brighton, using fun and creative listening tools together to appreciate our senses and our beautiful shared spaces.
We invite you to open your ears to experience our surroundings.
What to expect:
There'll be a small amount of slow walking indoors and outdoors (under 1mile in total, over the space of one hour) and a lot of standing: we will be stopping frequently to listen. It will be mild-moderate walking difficulty with no uneven terrain.
If there's heavy rain, the whole workshop will be indoors.
Please wear appropriate walking footwear and outer layers, and bring drinking water.
The session is funded for adults aged 50+ (thanks to funding from National Lottery players). Under-50s are welcome for a small donation. No music-making or listening walk experience is necessary, just an openness to take part and try new things.
