About this Event
Each Spring, the New York Law School Moot Court Association proudly hosts the Robert F. Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Moot Court Competition, bringing together law students from across the country for a distinguished national advocacy competition. Approximately forty law schools from across the nation compete each year, giving competitors the opportunity to demonstrate their skills before experienced practitioners, judges, and members of the legal community.
The Wagner Competition is one of the nation’s largest student-run labor moot court competitions and is the premier national competition dedicated exclusively to labor and employment law. The Moot Court Association sponsors this competition in honor of the late United States Senator, Robert F. Wagner, our distinguished alumnus.
The non-refundable registration fee for this year's competition is $1,050.00.
Only one team of (two) 2 is allowed to register per school but if spots remain after Wednesday, September 30th, we will allow an additional team from the same school to register. Registration closes on October 14, 2026.
The registration fee includes three (3) tickets to the Wagner Ball hosted on Saturday, February 20, 2027. Additional tickets are available for $125 per person and must be purchased in advance.
Please continue to check the Wagner webpage for updated information, registration links, and due dates!
