About this Event
Paul Dresher is an internationally active composer noted for his ability to integrate diverse musical influences into his own coherent and unique personal style. He pursues many forms of musical expression including experimental opera/music theater, chamber and orchestral composition, live instrumental electro-acoustic music, musical instrument invention, and scores for theater and dance.
The Living Earth Show collaborates with musical artists to build multidisciplinary, accessible, San Francisco-centric musical productions that reflect and respond to our world. The organization produces, commissions, records, and presents the ambitious work of vital musical creators, with a specific focus on foregrounding artists building work from, by, and for communities that are often marginalized and overlooked by traditional arts institutions. As a performing ensemble, record label, production company, and venue operator, The Living Earth Show uses experimental music to facilitate community and make San Francisco a place where culture is created.
