Calling all Road Captains, Sweeps, and interested chapter members!
Before we officially wrap up the 2026 riding season, let’s get together for an informal, open-floor review of our group ride experiences this year. Our road crew worked incredibly hard to keep us moving, and now it's time to talk about how it went.
We will be looking at what went right, what went wrong, and where we can fine-tune things for next year. Whether you led a ride, brought up the rear as a sweep, or just rode along in the group and have valuable feedback to share, your voice is welcome. All members are encouraged to participate and contribute to the discussion!

1. Welcome & 2026 Season Overview
• Brief recap of the total miles and group rides completed this year.
2. What Went Right
• Celebrating our successful runs and smooth routes.
• Highlighting great teamwork between leads and sweeps.
3. Safety & Communication
• Talking points: Hand signals, handling breakdowns, managing traffic intersections, and keeping the group unified.
• What went wrong/Lessons learned: Identifying close calls or chaotic moments and how to prevent them.
4. Routes & Navigation
• Talking points: Route planning clarity, dealing with unexpected construction, and finding suitable multi-stop locations.
• Areas of improvement: Ensuring pre-ride briefings match the actual road conditions.
5. Pace & Group Dynamics
• Talking points: Managing different rider skill levels, maintaining proper gaps, and setting an appropriate pace for large groups.
6. Open Floor & 2027 Planning
• Open mic for general suggestions, feedback from the membership, and initial ideas for next year's training.
