About this Event
Come make a mess through the meditative practice of collage art crafting. In this workshop we will learn how to create Artist Trading Cards- a popular and powerful gifting practice just in time for the holidays. Our projects will focus on building a design around a single message of healing, prayer, or blessing which can be kept for personal use or gifted.
About the Workshop
All supplies will be provided. You are welcome to bring any additional materials you'd like to work with. Be sure to put your name on anything you don't want to lose- things will be getting messy.
Why the Workshop
We can't always take a direct approach to the healing process. Activities that we can't "get wrong" help us locate what we like without pressure. Collage art is a powerfully soothing creative activity that goes beyond words and invites the healing witness within. It is also important to interact with a healing community in ways that are not always related to problem solving. We are multi-dimensional beings with lots more to say beyond the struggles we navigate. Arts and crafts is where socializing and healing meet.
