A salzburgi székhelyű Javus Quartett, a nemzetközi kamarazenei élet egyik legígéretesebb formációja. A 2016-os alapítás óta művészi fejlődésüket nagynevű mentorok, köztük Lukas Hagen és Johannes Meissl segítették. Az együttes számos jelentős díj birtokosa, és olyan rangos hangversenytermekben lép fel, mint a londoni Wigmore Hall vagy a bécsi Musikverein. Repertoárjuk a kvartettirodalom alapköveitől a kortársakig terjed. Budapesti műsoruk is ezt a sokszínűséget mutatja: Joseph Haydn kései vonósnégyese mellett a 20. századi lengyel zeneszerzőnő, Grażyna Bacewicz neoklasszikus III. vonósnégyesét játsszák. A Rising Stars-koncertek visszatérő eleme az ECHO felkérésére születő új mű,: a fiatal német komponista-karmester, Oscar Jockel alkotása a csendet nem a hangok hiányaként, hanem azok eredőjeként értelmezi.A Rising Stars programba jelölte: Wiener Konzerthaus, Musikverein Wien, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg.

The Salzburg-based Javus Quartett is one of the most promising ensembles on the international chamber music scene. Since its foundation in 2016, the quartet’s artistic development has been guided by renowned mentors such as Lukas Hagen and Johannes Meissl. The ensemble has won numerous major awards and performed in prestigious venues such as London’s Wigmore Hall and Vienna’s Musikverein. Their repertoire extends from the cornerstones of the string quartet literature to contemporary works. Their Budapest programme reflects this diversity: alongside one of Joseph Haydn’s late string quartets, they will perform the 20th-century Polish composer Grażyna Bacewicz’s neoclassical String Quartet No. 3. A recurring feature of the Rising Stars concerts is the presentation of a new work commissioned by ECHO; in his work, the young German composer and conductor Oscar Jockel interprets silence not as the absence of sounds, but as their source.
