Join us in person for a RISE London - Best Start in Life event
You're invited to visit us at St John's and see one of our Stay and Learn sessions for Reception children in action. Our parents will be invited to see how EYFS learning takes place. The focus of our event is building relationships with parents and carers to be partners in their child's learning.
Through a blend of speaking with senior leaders, seeing a session in action and finding out what else we do to build relationships from before the children join our school community, you will ffind out how our language‑rich, play‑based learning, systematic phonics, and inclusive strategies ensure all pupils thrive.
The workshop will illustrate how the school’s consistently strong outcomes - such as GLD above national benchmarks and positive attendance patterns are are achieved through high‑quality teaching, early identification of need, targeted intervention, strong family partnerships, and robust monitoring of progress. Attendees will gain insight into the systems and practice that create sustained learning to ensure children get the secure, confident “best start in life” as they move through EYFS and into Key Stage 1.
