RISE Around the Region is a free networking series bringing people together at different businesses and organizations throughout Northwest Indiana every other month.
Each RISE stop is an opportunity to discover a local business, meet new people, strengthen existing relationships, and have conversations that go beyond the usual “So, what do you do?”
Whether you're a business owner, nonprofit professional, community leader, entrepreneur, emerging leader, career changer, or simply someone looking to build meaningful connections in NWI, you are welcome here.

What to Expect
5:30–5:50 PM | Arrive + Connect
Settle in, meet someone new, and reconnect with familiar faces.
5:50–6:00 PM | Welcome + Host Spotlight
Get to know the local business or organization opening its doors to us.
6:00–6:15 PM | The RISE Takeaway
A quick, practical 10–15 minute leadership lesson with Stephanie Swearington of Swearington Empowered Leadership. One idea, a little reflection, and something you can actually take with you.
6:15–6:50 PM | Conversations That Connect
This isn't your typical “work the room and collect business cards” networking.
We'll provide conversation prompts designed to help you move beyond small talk, discover common ground, and uncover opportunities to support and connect with one another.
6:50–7:00 PM | Wrap-Up + Where We RISE Next
Make one last connection and get a sneak peek at our next stop around the Region.
