About this Event
Welcome to Ring-making with Strangers!
In this practical silver jewellery making workshop, you will learn the basics of silver jewellery, using sterling silver and all the tools of the trade, whilst meeting new people.
You will learn to:
- Size your ring
- Cut your ring to size
- Solder using a blow torch
- Shape using a hammer and mandrel
- File and finish
- Add detail and texture
At the end you will have your very own ring to take home for yourself, or gift to a loved one!
Expect fun activities during and after the session, with snacks and goodies included. Extra food will be available to purchase on the day, and there’ll be plenty of time to mingle.
