With the closure of the NCN 7 during the flood defences work our cycle network is going backwards not forwards! The lack of any detours show that cycling is not taken seriously as a means of transport and progress at filling other gaps is painfully slow.Once more we'll be marking the many ways cycling is obstructed with a tour of the slow crossings, paths that just end, and - new for 2026! - useless detours during vital path closures.
We'll meet at the station and do a tour of the town by bike. Please bring signs and placards and spread the word!
