📍Sun 22 Nov | New Lynn
Want a bike? Learn how to use it, ride it… and keep it.
🚲Ride It Keep It is a free community event designed by Got To Get Out to get locals riding bikes. You’ll be matched with a refurbished bike from the Got To Get Out Workshop, learn how to care for it, go for a guided group ride exploring the local cycle paths — then take your bike home at the end of the session. Plus you get a FREE brand new helmet, lock and pump too!
Behind the programme is a dedicated team of mechanics and volunteers who restore donated or discarded bikes and give them a second life — helping keep bikes in circulation while making cycling more accessible to the community.
🌱What's this about?
This programme is part of a wider initiative to:
- Get more people riding bikes locally,
- Explore cycle paths,
