Richmond Famous is the city’s premier storytelling and improv show, featuring an all-star cast of Coalition performers and your favorite Richmond celebrities. Each month we welcome a new Richmond-area citizen as our featured guest. The guests share true stories from their lives, which the cast use as inspiration to create a hilarious comedy show right before your eyes!
Joining us this month is Leslie Lilburn of Leslie and the Dots! Leslie is a Northside singer-songwriter who grew up in scenic Front Royal, VA and moved to Richmond in 2021. Leslie's musical fingerprint bears traces of a unique combination of inspirations, including the British Invasion and Country music of the 60's/70's. The result is an assortment of songs infused with joy, beauty, and heartbreak that would be at home in a Tarantino film score. He passes his time in a well-appointed garage studio, Murphy’s Pocket, with his band, The Dots.
Leslie and The Dots released their debut, self-titled album on March 19, 2026. You can catch them playing all around the Richmond area. Among other events, Leslie and The Dots have been featured in the Shockoe Sessions Live and Bellwether Garage concert series.
