After several years away from the Die Boer stage as a solo artist, Riaan Hunter returns on 15 January with a brand-new show that is both personal and unexpected. This is not a concert built around one genre. Instead, Riaan has chosen music that he genuinely loves to sing—from beautiful Afrikaans favourites and timeless classics to musical theatre and powerful, epic cinematic arrangements.
Audiences can expect well-known songs such as Delilah, Unchained Melody and Ameno, alongside favourites from the world of musicals, new material, and some of Riaan’s own songs. He has also taken a few familiar hits and rewritten or reimagined them, giving audiences something they may know—but in a way they have never heard before.
With his rich baritone voice at the centre…
