About this Event
🕺 BOYS, BOYS, BOYS! 🙋🏿♂️
This November, Rhymes on the Rocks is celebrating men, masculinity, and what it means to be a good man.
We’re talking about the men who lift each other up, the friendships that make life better, and the freedom to define masculinity on your own terms.
What happens when we ditch the outdated rules about how men should behave? What could a world look like where boys grow up knowing they can be strong, sensitive, ambitious, vulnerable, and completely themselves?
Whether you’ve got a poem about your own experiences, a man who changed your life, or a whole new vision of masculinity, we want to hear it.
HEADLINING: It's me! EMMY JENKS 🦑
Co-host of Rhymes on the Rocks, writer, strategist, permaculturist, tech expert, and woman with approximately 700 opinions about the future of humanity.
Does she write poetry about any of that?
No, of course she doesn't. She writes about boys.
From the perplexing fantasies we invent about other people to the glorious chaos of building a life alongside a man, expect questionable romantic decisions, emotional contradictions, and excessive introspection.
