In the lead up to Christmas, is there ever a better time to add some sparkle to your life? This hands-on workshop is an opportunity to decorate your very own velvet wristlet purse with Amy Lou from Kaleidoscope.
Amy will be talking to us about her foray into setting up her own local fashion brand and then she’ll give you a demo before you set yourself away. Choose what colour purse you’d like when you book and then collect it on the night. Head to the ‘rhinestone’ bar to check out all the twinkling options and embroidery patches in celestial, geometric, floral and heart-shaped styles. Have a go at creating your design and once you’re happy, get sticking with your own precision glue and tweezers. All materials are supplied as part of your ticket price.
Maybe you fancy an accessory you can show off for the festive season or you’d like to make a handmade gift for someone special. Either way, this is your chance to explore your textile skills using a beautiful velvet purse as a canvas.
If you’ve not been to one of our events before, our workshops are a great way to get away from the screens and rat race. Spend a night slow-crafting with like-minded people whilst enjoying a glass of wine or non-alcoholic beverage and a lovely cheese board. And if you’ve been before, you know the drill.
