Revolutionary-era Sites that have been Excavated in Trenton

The Lunchtime Learning program returns on Oct. 20 with long-time Trenton archaeologist and historian Richard Hunter. Hunter will speak about the city’s many Revolutionary War historic sites with an emphasis on those that have been the subject of archaeological study. Come hear what’s been found underground at the Old Barracks, the William Trent House, the Petty’s Run Archaeological Site, in the backyard of the Eagle Tavern and beneath the Route 29 Tunnel.
