God delights in finding us in the field...with our hands dirty, faithful in the mundane, and fully present in whatever is in front of us, doing it hand in hand with Him. Spacious places symbolize freedom to create with the king, a place to hear his voice, a place free from captivity, a place where it's okay to fail, a field where you know that when you do it all with him, there is space to breathe and delight in the every day.
Whether you are a mom tending to you children, called to the marketplace, ministry, missions, or every day life, you are called to those in front of you but how will God find you? Let's be women with our oil lamps ready for what he's going to do next.
God never called us to run into every field that needs to be tended to, only the ones in front of us. In gardens, fields, and open spaces, the natural life cycle of harvest eventually fades to make way for new life. This is about being a well to those around us - the healthiest trees produce fruit that produces more healthy trees around themselves. They create a SUPPORT system of wells to help those around us grow. John Piper said, "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him."
Be found in the field of delight.
Be found in the field of destiny.
Be found in the field of freedom.
