About this Event
Reveal Night: Small Work, Big City — Philadelphia
One night. One new release. One room of people making things in Philadelphia.”
Reveal Night starts with a reason to be in the room.
Not networking for the sake of networking.
Not a panel assembled because an event needed speakers.
Not another open mixer where the first question is always, “So, what do you do?”
Each edition begins with one specific creative occasion:
a short film, a small project, a design experiment, a field note, or another piece of work being shown publicly for the first time.
Then the room talks.
The first edition of Reveal Night brings together a small group of people working across design, technology, creative work, and business for the premiere of:
SMALL WORK, BIG CITY
A short original film from Fresh Cut Collective about what it means to release a small creative project before it feels important enough to deserve attention.
The screening is brief.
The conversation is the larger part of the evening.
Attendance is limited so guests can move quickly from seeing the work to talking with other people who are making things of their own.
WHAT REVEAL NIGHT IS
Reveal Night is a quarterly creative gathering.
Every edition has three ingredients:
ONE OCCASION
Something specific is being released, premiered, published, or shown.
ONE SHORT REVEAL
The featured work is presented without a long keynote or panel.
ONE ROOM OF CONVERSATION
The rest of the evening is structured around small-group discussion and natural connection.
If there is nothing real to reveal, there is no Reveal Night.
THIS EDITION
SMALL WORK, BIG CITY
The evening begins with the first public screening of a short original film produced by Fresh Cut Collective.
The film looks at a simple question:
What happens when we stop waiting for a small project to feel important enough before we let other people see it?
This is a creative release rather than an industry report or research presentation.
The film is approximately 6–8 minutes long.
After the screening, attendees move directly into small-group conversation.
