BLACK ALTAR
Orthodox black metal from Poland and the UK. Black Altar took form within the 90's having been established within the year of 1996 by Shadow. Tours have included Mexico and South America, European festivals and a UK service with Carpathian Forest. With overall themes of misanthropy, death, darkness and Satanism, Black Altar does justice in conveying these often abstract ideas through their musicianship and lyrics. By blending their aggressive and raw tonality and structure with well written lyrics that conceptualized these ideas perfectly. Within a dark theatrical ritualistic ceremony Black Altar is then able to further express their themes by way of a visualization that is both captivating as it is cathartic.
