Join Lucy from Twisted Warrior Yoga Studio and Elaine from Heart Activation for a restorative experience centered around the pelvic floor, breath, body awareness, and deep relaxation.
The pelvic floor plays an important role in supporting the body, and our relationship with this area can extend beyond physical strength. The hips, pelvis, belly, and lower back can become places where we unconsciously brace and protect as we move through stress and emotional experiences. These experiences can influence how we breathe, move, contract our muscles, and relate to the sensations within our bodies.
Lucy will begin the experience with gentle yoga poses, breathwork, and pelvic floor awareness, offering guidance on how to engage and strengthen these muscles with greater intention. You’ll have an opportunity to become more aware of the relationship between your pelvic floor, breath, core, hips, and lower back while creating a deeper connection with the sensations within your body.
From there, Elaine will guide you into a restorative sound healing experience using crystal singing bowls. As you settle into stillness, the tones and vibrations of the bowls create an immersive space for relaxation and inward awareness. You’ll be invited to release the effort of the practice, soften into your body, and notice what arises through breath, sensation, and sound.
This experience creates space for both active awareness and deep restoration, allowing you to explore what it feels like to strengthen, relax, listen, and receive within your body.
